I love that New Yorkers seem to reinvent their looks from one day to the next. Nothing ever feels out of place, and I feel like it gives me permission to mix and match really contradictory pieces. I'm buying classic pearl accessories to pair with modern, all-beige ensembles while also making room in my closet for biker shorts (surprisingly perfect with blazers) and, let's be honest, yet another pair of sneakers.
