She requires a shoe that’ll see her through an average workday, which involves creating new content, trying new workouts, checking out new coffee shops, and going on mini adventures with the child she nannies. This fall, her boot style of choice is a chunky platform with a ’90s edge.
"Boots are such a necessity, especially when you live in the city and your main way of getting around is by walking,” she says, professing her love for Sorel’s versatile lug-soled sneaker boots. "They kind of remind me of a ’90s sneaker,” she says of her go-to fall shoe, which she’s expertly paired with a cropped white tee, black dress pants, and a waistcoat. "I’d wear this look out to dinner with a cropped jacket.”
"These boots are such a good neutral staple,” Williams says of this Sorel style she keeps in constant wardrobe rotation. "When you’re putting together an outfit to wear all day in the city, adding a sporty element and combining it with dressier accessories provides the perfect mix of comfort and class,” she explains.
"I don’t really have a particular aesthetic, but I do lean more toward street style–type outfits,” she says of this fun ’90s-inspired look complete with light-rinse overalls, a knit crop top, a cropped cashmere sweater, and a mini handbag. Her parting style tip? "Play around with size and proportions!” she advises. "Working with different shapes can really make or break a look.”
